I’m a freelance writer and editor specialising on China, with seven years under my belt in the country (one in Jiangsu province, two in Tianjin and four in Beijing). I have been managing editor of Agenda magazine and senior copywriter for major ad agency Dentsu, on top of writing and editing for outlets such as The Spectator, South China Morning Post, LA Review Of Books, Hong Kong Review of Books, China Daily, Global Times, and the Beijinger. I have written on everything in China from high finance to high fashion, but I most regularly write on books, life in China, and business. I have also interviewed and profiled dozens of prominent people in and relating to China.
This website is a sampling of my articles relating to China. Publicists, editors and publishers can contact me at mikecormack7[at]gmail.com. You can also follow me on Twitter @bucketoftongues.
